New Adventures

New adventures await us (you and I) here at my new blog. I have juggled a few blogs over the years -- some for business purposes, some for pleasure, but all were for the love of writing and adventure. Finally I have created a (blog)spot to chronicle all of it together. Links to my other blogs will be included, as well, in case you want to follow our path from 2010 to now.

I will still write a lot (and I mean A LOT) about plants. From restoration gardening with native plants to edible gardening with a variety of veggies, fruits, herbs, and edible flowers. Check out my regular column on WWN Rockport. It's called Texas Treehugger. My first piece for Eagle Eye Magazine will be published soon; I will announce when it is available. On this blog, in addition to plants, I will also write about our tiny mostly off-grid home on five acres. Believe me, creating and modifying our vision for this property is one gigantic adventure in itself. If you have an interest in homeschooling, that will be here, too. And running, dancing, art, writing, maybe even a little raw food. All green and nearly-green topics are fair game. I hope you will join me as my family reflects on our journey from off-road to off-grid.
